For the photo I started off
by throwing paint over Emma and then took close up shots of her face with her
hands across it. The hands were to represent her coming out into the music
world.
When editing this photo I
changed it to blue and made the contrasting colours really strong against each
other, which you can really see in the orange and blue.
What I really like about
this image is how the main colours are orange and blue but you have that splash
of pink on her hand that really stands out against the main colours, it also
gives diversity with in the colours
I put Emma in a white vest
top because I felt that this would look a lot better under the paint than a
patterned or black top. This is because on top of them you couldn't be able to
see the paint very clear but on the white it stands out.
I really do like the photo
and it would be one of my first choices of my double page spread. This is
because it stands out and is really striking and could get the audients looking
and reading about her. Also when doing my research it is very different to any
other photos that music magazines use and this I feel really separates me from
other competing magazines.
